WHY I CHOSE METU BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT?

     The first reason why I chose METU Business Administration department is the opportunities of METU Technopolis. METU Technopolis is the first and the biggest technopark in Turkey. It has lots of companies, especially start-ups. Moreover, Atom and Z-Garage boost students who want to establish their company. Also, these companies are very close to the Business Administration department building. That means students who are enrolled to METU BA may work part-time in METU Technopolis. Therefore, they are not only studying business but also working in the companies at the same time. In addition, students can take money prize to build their own start-ups thanks to YFYI which is a competition is organized by METU Technopolis. Finally, events which are related to companies, entrepreneurship or business life are always organized and open to students in METU Technopolis. 
     The second reason is the colorful campus life. METU has a lot of sports teams and associations. For example; I am a member of METU Cycling Team and Classical Guitar Club. Also, the dormitories of METU are very close departments and comfortable. Apart from all this, the METU campus has special soul and culture which was created by "Bozkırı Yeşertenler". Indeed, METU culture makes feel like home. I have been visiting top-ranked universities when I was at high school. As a result, the campus life of METU has been affected me more than all other universities. It has been a year since I started at METU and yet when I run at Devrim, I still say to myself: "METU is a perfect choice girl! Go on!"
     The final reason why I chose this department is that I want to study and have a career in finance and entrepreneurship in the future. I decided to achieve my goals related to finance and entrepreneurship when I was at high school. After this decision, I searched for the academic staff of universities. According to my research, METU Business Administration is the best business department in Turkey to have an education in finance and entrepreneurship. For example; I can study in the Design Factory which is course with opened to BA code. is related to entrepreneurship. Also, I can take lots of elective finance courses thanks to the fact that some staff of METU BA are expert in finance. I am here because of these reasons. I should say that if my department, METU Ba, is individual, I would marry it.
